About Us
Overview
American Fuji Seal offers a wide variety of packaging materials, equipment and services that can make a real difference on the shelf. Shrink Sleeve Labels, In Mold Labels (IML) and Thermo-Shield® Insulating Labels are just some of our offerings.
Exercising the proposal ability based on our technologies, we propose various packaging plans to clients from a “decoration” and “functionality” standpoint to enhance their products’ value and appeal.
American Fuji Seal also has an office and a factory in Mexico and covers the Americas as its sales area. Promoting rationalization of production and increasing production capacity, we strive to solve problems co-operating with many clients including major companies in the United States as one of their good partners.
History of Fuji Seal Group
American Fuji Seal opened for business in Los Angeles in 1975 as the first overseas advance of Fuji Seal Group. We have provided service to clients utilizing our long-developed shrink sleeve label technology ever since then. The Tylenol-tampering scare in 1982 moved the spotlight to cap seals and their applicators and our technology gathered attention. After that, we have continued to provide shrink sleeve labels extensively. In 2001, we took over Owens Illinois Label to expand our business in America. And in 2009, we opened a plant in Mexico to establish a full-scale system for production.
